We stand on the sole authority of the King James Bible (AV 1611).” It all sounds perfectly innocent until you take a closer look, and discover their views on The Beatles. And on rock in general. And on celebrity lifestyle. Or on Britney, N’Sync et al. Or on just about everything. Or on anything else they haven’t already mentioned. It’s this sort of “Christian” right-wing fundamentalist bigotry which leads to unbelievable stories like the one in today’s Independent concerning teenager Brandi Blackbear, suspended from school in Oklahoma for practicing witchcraft. Having once spent three hours in Oklahoma City bus station waiting for a Greyhound connection and encountering more casual racism and bigotry in that short period than in the rest of my life put together, I’m not surprised that it happens. Wow – I’ll probably burn in Hell now. Mind you, being Christian, the good people at the Dial-the-Truth Ministries are sure to forgive me for what I’ve said. (via my dayjob). Sorry boss.

I have checked out that website and not sure about that website one bit.
I am a christian myself and having to just browse along and checking out that site I must say I did not feel no peace about it at all!
There’s no love or compassion..just pure condemnation and we are expected to be seperated from those who dont know Christ. (check out what they said of P.O.D) I mean Christ is here for the sick not for the goody-two shoes!
And it explains how we should be there for those who dont know Christ personally as we are his tresurers in a clay pot (2nd Cornthians 4 vs 8).
There are so many events on how Jesus fellowshipped with loads of un-saved people and look what happened to them! They all know Christ and have a down to earth relationship with him.
Otherwise whats the point of God creating us if we are not able to help out those who are lost! If we had followed dial-a-ministries example…What are we going to say to him when he comes to collects us… (example lol):
GOD : So…what did you do on my behalf to minister those who didnt know me?
ME: uhmmm….
GOD:: yeah….

Using the name of Christ as a point of blasphemy, huh? I don’t necessarily agree with all of Dial-The-Truth ministrie’s views but I believe that they have some pretty good points about music that is just made to placate the ‘flesh’. I listen to some contemporary artists, mind you, but I am truly surprised at all the filth that is being pawned off as “Christian music”. When I use to listen to rap music, Wu-Tang’s Masta Killa said it best, ‘the dumb are mostly intrigued by the drum’.
A seperation from the world’s influence is not unlloving but a biblical commandment;
2Co:6:14: Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2Co:6:15: And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
2Co:6:16: And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2Co:6:17: Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you
By the way, Christ did spend His time with ‘Publicans and sinners”but it was He influencing and convicting them of their sin, not the sinners having an adverse effect on Christ:
Joh:3:19: And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Joh:3:20: For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved(exposed).
Love the sinner but do not compromise the standard for ‘peace’ sake
Also, jayn, that ‘treasure’ that 2nd Cor. 4:7 is talking about has to do with the Gospel and the Holy Spirit, not us.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

The reason we are in so much trouble in this country is SIN. God used to bless us but because of our greed and legalized SIN HE has turned His back on us. Now we must turn back to HIM as a nation by repenting and once again honor HIM as God, not ourselves
I would like to ask a question please. Can the spirit of a physically dead unsaved person when returned back to GOD and faces judgement be given a chance to spiritually repent and believe in the Saviour Jesus Christ accepting Him as Lord and Saviour be able to avoid the second death which is the spiritual death sparing the hell fire punishment? I hope this question is not too confusing, I am curious to know the answer. Thank you very much.
